We use a holistic approach which focuses primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). We also incorporate other models such as DBT, Narrative and Schema therapy interventions. What this means is that we use paradigms that shift your thinking, mood and behaviours towards goals that are future orientated. It comes from a framework of an optimistic standpoint, rather than focussing on problems of the past that leaves you feeling stuck. There is an emphasis on the here and now (mindfulness of the present), learning practical strategies that add value to your life, and identifying what is not working for you or holding you back.
