Our Approach

The name ‘Mindset Consulting’ was chosen specifically to communicate where we come from: a place of optimism. In our practice, we use a framework that focuses on the here and now (mindfulness of the present), as well as looking at long term repetitive patterns of thinking and behaviour that leave you feeling stuck.

Essentially, our approach is to help you learn practical strategies that ADD VALUE to your life, as well as identify what is not working for you or holding you back so that you can shift your thinking, mood and behaviours toward your future goals.

If you’re familiar with the jargon, we use a holistic approach which focuses primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy but we also incorporate other models such as DBT, Narrative and Interpersonal Therapy interventions.
